Oak Cliff Artisans is a cooperative group of artists from the Dallas area. The purpose of the group is to pool resources for showing and marketing our work. Artists in all media are welcome, and new members are encouraged to apply by filling out the jury application.

TEMAK:

Teenage Mothers and Girls Association of Kenya is an organization working for the rescue, rehabilitation and economic empowerment of girls and young women. Our programmes focus on helping solve the problems of HIV/AIDS infected children, their parents (often teenage girls who are single), orphans, the poor and the destitute of the community. TEMAK has its centre in Tom Mboya Estate, Kisumu where multiple programmes have been initiated over the past dozen years to support the destitute.
TEMAK has carefully designed a center where training, rehabilitation, and economic empowerment for adolescent girls is conducted in order to improve the opportunities of teenage mothers. Income generating activities are initiated for the girls in order to uplift their living standards.

Third World Craft Development CenterTWCDC is a non-governmental organization established as a platform for e-learning, e-marketing and micro enterprise development counseling. It has adopted multi facet approach to contribute micro enterprise development  that is geared towards creation of fair enterprises and  jobs for needy. It helps  transfer skills on information technology and adopt it to the use of local need while promoting sustainable business development through providing quality services and products marketing focusing services to women empowerment. 

 TWCDC currently partners with Bestcommercetools that  supports its IT based activities from training delivery to outsourcing. It also promotes open source web authoring platform CatGen developed by PEOPLink/CatGen for online handicrafts marketing trainings.

 

TWCDC  has also set up micro credit unit  that  provides loan and advance to artisans and SMEs without collateral. The loan will be provided for buying raw material and expanding workshop and business. It also provides loan against confirmed export order.

They raise funds from promoters, board members and social investors who seek to utilize their savings for social causes.

Jedando: JEDANDO'S main function includes educating the people about the need to reforest as they cut down trees for use in their crafts.  This ensures that the products will be available for years to come thereby providing a sustainable income to the craftsmen and their children's children.
